Tem seu in\u00edcio na cidade de\u00a0S\u00e3o Luiz, MA. Trata-se, portanto, de uma rodovia longitudinal que cruza o pa\u00eds de norte a sul. No Piau\u00ed, esta rodovia liga\u00a0o sul do Estado e \u00e9 um dos vetores priorit\u00e1rios de desenvolvimento regional e tamb\u00e9m de integra\u00e7\u00e3o nacional.<br \/>\nA \u00e1rea ser impactada pelo empreendimento est\u00e1 inclu\u00edda no chamado Vetor Log\u00edstico Setentrional e que abrange\u00a0ainda, os Estados do Cear\u00e1, Rio Grande do Norte, Para\u00edba, Pernambuco, Sergipe e parcelas do norte de Alagoas e\u00a0Piau\u00ed, fazendo parte da divis\u00e3o territorial adotada pelo Plano Plurianual 2008 \u2013 2011 e pelo Plano Nacional de\u00a0Log\u00edstica e Transportes \u2013 PNLT e ocupa 6,5% do territ\u00f3rio nacional.<br \/>\nO EIA\/Rima, PBA e Estudos para a obten\u00e7\u00e3o da Autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de Supress\u00e3o de Vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o, visa as obras de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0do Lote 1, trecho j\u00e1 pavimentado, a partir da cidade de Bertolina, no qual \u00e9 previsto obras de melhorias e restaura\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0do pavimento, com 31km e o Lote 2, n\u00e3o pavimentado, prevendo implanta\u00e7\u00e3o e pavimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, vai at\u00e9 a cidade de\u00a0Elizeu Martins, com extens\u00e3o de 60,3km, totalizando uma extens\u00e3o de 91km, tendo como principais caracter\u00edsticas\u00a0t\u00e9cnicas: Rodovia Classe III, n\u00famero de pistas: 1 (uma);
